U-MYX Ringtones Technology is here at last.

Users of all future ‘free clip’ and full length U-MYX tracks will be able to buy clips of their mixes as personalised ringtones.

This new development comes hot on the heels of the massively popular ‘U-MYX streaming tools’ and Top 10 Charts that have seen U-MYX being embedded all over MySpace and other Social Networking properties with songs by The Secret Handshake in the US and Good Charlotte in Australia.

U-MYX ringtones launch in the UK on Tuesday 29th May 2007 with a co-promotion between U-MYX and MTV UK on the USA smash hit ‘This Is Why Im Hot’ by Mims.

MTV UK are providing on air and online promotion for this U-MYX campaign- and Mims himself has recorded video segments that will air alongside the This Is Why I’m Hot video for the next 4 weeks.

The full length version of the song allows users to save their mixes and upload them onto the Mims U-MYX microsite- accessing U-MYX’s streaming tools and ’send to friend’ feature.

The Top 10 Charts of this song will be embedded across MTV’s UK websites, and the most played mix of all will receive prizes from U-MYX, MTV and Mims’ record UK label, Angel.
